Secondary
Injuries played a major role in this unit as well, as Aggie receivers were beating Tennessee’s secondary time and time again, especially early in the game. The Vols did clean up a lot of their mistakes in the second half, and Todd Kelly Jr. picked off Trevor Knight early in the game. Malik Foreman also forced a game-saving fumble in the fourth quarter that turned an A&M touchdown into a touchback and gave the Vols back the ball. It didn’t end as badly as it started for the secondary, but it still wasn’t pretty.
