Defensive Line
Once again, Derek Barnett came to play. He finished with six tackles, a sack, a tackle for loss, two quarterback hurries, and even a pass breakup. The Vols’ defensive line had four of Tennessee’s five tackles for loss in the game, and Kahlil McKenzie really stepped up after Danny O’Brien was carted off the field with an injury. The line couldn’t consistently close up holes for A&M’s running backs, but Trevor Knight was pressured for most of the night.
