COLLEGE STATION, Tex. – Some pregame notes from Kyle Field as the No. 9 Vols get ready to face No. 7 Texas A&M on Saturday afternoon (3:30 pm ET, CBS).

Scouts and bowls: Scouts from the Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans, San Diego Chargers, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns are in attendance at Kyle Field. Reps from the Orange Bowl, the Citrus Bowl and the Texas Bowl are also in the press box.

Injury updates: Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Cam Sutton, Jalen Hurd and Darrin Kirkland Jr. are all confirmed out. Multiple reports are now out saying JRM is done for the season – we’ll get more from Butch Jones about that after the game. There have been some rumors floating around about the health status of Micah Abernathy. He’s on the field for warmups and appears to be moving well, though he was working with the second-team defense.

Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin told ESPN that star defensive end Myles Garrett (who is dressed out) will play, but could be limited. Receiver Ricky Seals-Jones is dressed in street clothes and looks to be out.

Lineup notes: Tennessee’s starting lineup in warmups were (offense): Brett Kendrick, Jashon Robertson, Dylan Wiesman, Jack Jones, Chance Hall, Joshua Dobbs, Alvin Kamara, Josh Malone, Ethan Wolf, Josh Smith and Jauan Jennings and defense: Malik Foreman, Emmanuel Moseley, Rashaan Gaulden, Evan Berry, Colton Jumper, Cortez McDowell, Corey Vereen, Derek Barnett, Kendal Vickers and Danny O’Brien.

Manning in the house: Peyton Manning, as he promised in the preseason, is in attendance for this game.
