4. RB Alvin Kamara
While the Vols could ask more of Kelly, it’ll be Alvin Kamara who takes the bulk of the work if Hurd can’t go. Kamara’s carved a niche as one of the most explosive 1B running backs in the nation, but what will it look like if he has to do it without Jalen Hurd? Kamara has only averaged eight carries per game in his career, and never had more than 16 carries in a single game. UT might need him to touch the ball 25+ times in College Station, and he might need to be effective without the benefit of Hurd softening up the defense with his tough runs.
