4. Josh Smith’s 4th-down catch against Georgia
There are so many plays to choose from in the 2015 come-from-behind win over Georgia. There’s another one coming, but Josh Smith’s fourth-down reception at the end of the first half is widely viewed as the play that saved the game for UT. Trailing 24-3, Jones took an early gamble and went for it on fourth down to try get the Vols back in the game. Dobbs forces the pass into a tight window, but Smith reaches behind him, makes the grab and finds his way to the end zone to cut it to two scores. The Bulldogs fumbled the ensuing kickoff, leading to another quick score before the half, putting the Vols right back in the game.
