Defensive Line
Derek Barnett has been so close to breaking through all season. He showed in the second half what can happen when he truly takes over a game. The junior defensive end recorded two sacks, three TFLs and five big stops total to help stymie the Florida offense in the second half. The numbers weren’t huge overall, and like several other groups, the D-line didn’t do a ton early, but the overall body of work turned out to be impressive.
