Friday Top 10: What Needs to Happen for the Vols to Beat Florida

1. The O-line must step up

Through three games, it’s felt a little bit like 2014 on the offensive line for Tennessee. The Vols haven’t been able to consistently hold blocks, and that’s limited everything they can do offensively. And the challenge is even greater against what might be one of the best defensive fronts in the SEC on Saturday.

It’s tough to say exactly how dominant Florida is defensively because of the level of competition the Gators have faced, but I think it’s a pretty fair assumption that the Gators present more challenges than what UT has seen thus far. Chance Hall, who is coming off an injury, might get the starting nod at right tackle. It’s unfair to ask him to be the savior for this group, but regardless of who is in the game, Tennessee needs more front the guys up front to beat the Gators.
