Some pregame notes as the Vols get ready to take on Ohio. Game time temperature will be 82 degrees with partly cloudy skies and winds at 4 MPH.
NFL: The Washington Redskins are the lone NFL team with a spot in the press box this week.
Injury notes: Evan Berry (hamstring) is in uniform and was the first player in line to take a warmup rep at kickoff returner. Wide receiver Preston Williams (hamstring) is also in uniform and is out early taking reps at receiver.
Receiver Josh Smith, who was questionable with an ankle injury, is on the sideline with crutches and a wrap on his right leg. Offensive lineman Chance Hall isn’t in uniform, but he is off crutches with a wrap on his right leg. Darrin Kirkland Jr., who has been confirmed out for this game, is in a walking boot and on crutches. Cornerback Justin Martin is also not in uniform.

The starting receivers were Preston Williams, Josh Malone and Jauan Jennings.
Defensively, the Vols, as expected, had Colton Jumper as the starting ILB in warmups, Corey Vereen was at DE and the starting cornerbacks were Cam Sutton, Emmanuel Moseley and Rashaan Gaulden.
Cornerback Malik Foreman is suspended, the team announced just before kickoff.
