Butch Jones announced earlier this week that the Tennessee Vols football team will wear a commemorative sticker on their helmets honoring the late Tennessee legend Pat Summitt. And on Wednesday, the eve of Tennessee’s season starting, the Vols unveiled the logo.

Tennessee will wear this sticker for all 12 regular season games this season and any postseason play the Vols reach as well.
The official Tennessee football Twitter account also released this video to tease the new helmet stickers:

Summitt passed away in late June after a lengthy battle with dementia, and the outpouring of support and emotion since then has been immense. The sticker is likely just the first of many moves by all of UT’s major sports teams to honor Summitt this season.
