Daniel: The bye week and a lighter schedule will be welcomed sights to UT by this point. The Vols struggled to put SC away last year, needing a late turnover to seal that victory, so don’t automatically assume a blowout in this matchup. But Tennessee is pretty good. South Carolina isn’t. Vols win pretty big here.
Pick: 45-14 Tennessee
Nathanael: South Carolina will be terrible this year. The Vols will be coming off a bye week before this game. It could be close early, but I’d be surprised if it ends up being as close as last year’s. The Vols will want to finally win against Muschamp, and I think they do.
Pick: 37-20 Tennessee
Stephen: Tennessee will return from the bye week well rested and ready for a solid finish to the season. I do expect the Gamecocks to keep it closer than they should, but the better team will win in the end. Perhaps the best thing about this game for Tennessee fans will be finally beating Will Muschamp.
