Our Tennessee Season Predictions Are In

vs. Ohio, Sept. 17

Daniel: The Vols get another talented, well-coached non-Power 5 matchup in Week 3 in what is a definite trap-game scenario given the most-attended game in history will be the week before and arguably the biggest regular-season game in recent history for UT is the following week. It wouldn’t stun me to see UT fumble around a bit in this one, but again, too much talent and experience for UT in this matchup. Even if it’s a bit of a sleep-walk, that’ll be enough.

Pick: 41-10 Tennessee

Nathanael: This might possibly be the most overlooked game on the schedule for the Vols this year. It has all the makings of a trap game, and if Ohio were slightly better, I’d be more worried. That’s not to say Ohio is bad, because they’re not. They have a solid roster with some talent, and they should compete for notoriety in the MAC. But the Vols own MAC teams since Butch Jones took over, and I expect this game to go the same way.

Pick: 55-7 Tennessee

Stephen: I won’t spend too much time on this one. No disrespect to the Bobcats, but Appalachian State beat them in their bowl game to finish the 2015 season. That’s enough for me.

Pick: 45-14 Tennessee
