Our Tennessee Season Predictions Are In

at Vanderbilt, Nov. 26

Vanderbilt Stadium-1-2

Daniel: The scene will again look like it does in the picture above, and Tennessee will head to Nashville with a lot to play for – possibly with a trip to Atlanta on the line. The Commodores might be scrapping for bowl eligibility, and their defense should be formidable, but they’re just not a complete enough team to to pull it off. It might be a little close for comfort, but UT wraps up the regular season with a W.

Pick: 28-17 Tennessee

Nathanael: Look, will Vanderbilt have a good defense in 2016? Probably so. But they had one last year and the Vols had their way with them. It’s the last game of the year, and unless the Vols are depleted by injuries like they were in 2014, I don’t expect Vanderbilt to score enough to keep up or their defense to really slow down the Vols enough. Tennessee wins and heads to Atlanta the following week.

Pick: 31-10 Tennessee

Stephen: No disrespect to Vandy, but it’s Vandy. And the Vols will know a win here would send them to Atlanta for the SEC Championship. ‘Nuff said.

Pick: 38-10 Tennessee
