Our Tennessee Season Predictions Are In

vs. Missouri, Nov. 19

Joshua Dobbs-1-2

Daniel: Tennessee got over the hump against Missouri last year with a workmanlike effort in Columbia. The Tigers have been an absolute disaster this offseason off the field, and there just isn’t too much to fear on the field in 2016 either. The defense will be respectable with Charles Harris on the defensive line and Barry Odom calling the shots, but UT is better equipped to block this group and should slug out another win this year.

Pick: 31-13 Tennessee

Nathanael: Missouri’s defense should still be alright, but it’ll be worse than it was last year just because of the sheer number of players they’ve lost from last year’s roster. The offense was already dreadful last year, and it probably will be even worse this year. I would be shocked if Missouri pulled this one out. It will be ugly, though, and Vol fans may get a scare early in this one.

Pick: 27-9 Tennessee

Stephen: I genuinely felt sad for Gary Pinkel last season. You could tell he was just disappointed with the way he and his team went out. His players carried him off the field despite losing to the Vols and he just looked sad. Unfortunately for new Mizzou Coach Barry Odom, he’s likely to be handed an even worse loss in Neyland Stadium on November 19th.

Pick: 31-14 Tennessee
