Quick bio: Massaro has led MTSU’s athletic department for the past 12 years.
Pros: The Blue Raiders have seen consistent growth in facilities, academic success and fundraising under Massaro. He’s made some quality hires, and has helped build solid men’s basketball and football programs in addition to finding success in several other sports as well.
Cons: He’s somewhat of a dark horse in terms of not having the name recognition or some of the UT ties that other candidates have
