9. John Currie
Quick bio: After a quick stint at Wake Forest, Currie worked his way up the athletic department ranks at Tennessee from 1997 until he was hired as the AD at Kansas State in 2009.
Pros: Currie has a Master’s from UT in addition to the extensive experience within the Tennessee athletic department. He’s done a great job at KSU, garnering national awards for his work in fundraising, facilities development and athletic success.
Cons: There’s not much to dislike about him. If the interest is mutual, he could be a very serious candidate for the Vols.
