Sophomore cornerback Darrell Miller indicated on Twitter on Wednesday that he is moving on from UT, and is no longer listed on Tennessee’s official roster online.

Miller was a three-star cornerback out of Cedar Hill, Tex., who signed in the 2015 class with Butch Jones. He appeared in five games as a reserve cornerback and special teams player in 2015, making his debut in the opener against Bowling Green in Nashville. He was facing an uphill battle for consistent playing time in 2016 on defense.
His departure leaves Tennessee with seven true scholarship corners on the roster in Cam Sutton, Justin Martin, Malik Foreman, Emmanuel Moseley, Baylen Buchanan, D.J. Henderson and Marquill Osborne, though there are several players in the secondary who are capable of playing multiple positions.
