If you follow Tennessee’s coaching staff and notice an influx of retweets on your Twitter timeline Monday morning, there’s a good reasons for it.
A new NCAA rule came into effect at 12:01 am on Aug. 1 – coaches may now interact with recruits via social media in terms of liking, retweeting, sharing or reposting what they say. The coaches, however, can’t comment. As UT’s compliance put it, coaches can “click, but don’t type.”
Comments are NOT permitted; considered more than confirmation of a prospect's recruitment. "Click, but don't type." https://t.co/MeOsbjzsBU
