1. Progress of the Passing Game/Wide Receivers
The biggest question all offseason for the Vols carries over to fall camp, and that question, of course, is about the passing game and Tennessee’s wide receivers.
Most of the talk since last season ended has been about how much Josh Dobbs and the passing game can improve upon a lackluster 2015 campaign. Especially the deep passing game.
The talent is there. That much is obvious when you see players like Josh Malone, Preston Williams, and others in the receiving corps. But injuries and lack of chemistry plagued the passing game last season, and the Vols will need to fix that if 2016 is to be a success. Getting the tight ends more involved in the passing game should also be a priority.
There are a lot of aspects of this team that will be intriguing to watch. But nothing will draw as much attention as the progress of Dobbs and the passing game.
