Offensive tackle Trey Smith, the top player in the nation according to ESPN, returned to Knoxville for another visit over the weekend, and Tennessee made sure the outside of Neyland Stadium looked good for Smith and the other visitors.

The 6-foot-6, 290-pound Smith put Tennessee in his top six earlier this summer, joining Ohio State, Ole Miss, Clemson, Alabama and Notre Dame. The Jackson, Tenn., native is also a five-star prospect according to both 247Sports and Scout.com.
Tennessee has made it clear that Smith is among the top overall players on its board as well. The Vols hosted a lineman-focused satellite camp at his high school in Jackson earlier in the summer.
While UT couldn’t officially say it was specifically to impress Smith, the connection there is obvious.
