The Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino came out with win over/unders for the 2016 season (via Phil Steele) for some of the top programs around the nation earlier this week.
Tennessee checks in with an over/under of 9.5 games for the regular season – which is around where the conversation has been for this team.
Taking the “over” bet, meaning you expect Tennessee to win 10 or more games in the regular season, has a money line of -150. That means you would need to bet $150 to win $100.
Taking the “under” side, meaning you expect UT to win nine games or less in the regular season, has a money line of +130. So in that case, a $100 bet would net you $130. That essentially means that the casino is trying to entice bettors to take a chance on the under since many will want to take the over.
