Legendary former Lady Vols head coach Pat Summitt has been struggling with dementia for several years, and her condition took a turn for the worse over the past couple days. Her foundation released a statement updating the public on her condition, and an immediate outpouring of support and well-wishes ensued online.
Summitt has touched the lives of thousands of people throughout her life, and many of those people are former players, coaches, colleagues, or other people involved in coaching in any number of sports. Others are involved in media or have met Pat through some of the many things she pursued off the court.
However they know her, people have always loved Pat Summitt. And here are just a few of those who have reached out to her and her family via social media.
