JaCoby Stevens
Safety/Athlete – 2017 Class
6-2, 193 pounds
Murfreesboro, Tenn. (Oakland)
Other top offers
Georgia, LSU, FSU, Florida, USC, Oklahoma
Status
Widely considered a top 25 player in the nation, Stevens named a top seven of Clemson, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, UT, LSU and FSU in late May. Michigan and others are making a hard push to be under consideration as well and Stevens has indicated he’s open to list to anybody. Stevens has been a high priority for the Vols in this class for years, but could be a tough get with all of the national competition.

How he fits
Stevens is about as versatile and impressive of an athlete as there is in the 2017 class. He plays safety, cornerback, running back and receiver at the highest level in Tennessee high school football, and does it all with relative ease. He likely projects as a safety in college, but he can help a team in many ways.
