Cade Mays bleeds orange. And why wouldn’t he? His dad played for the Vols and he goes to high school in Knoxville, just a few miles from UT campus.
Although he is a 2018 recruit, Mays committed to Tennessee almost a year ago. As the number-one rated player in the state of Tennessee for his class, and a top-five offensive tackle in the nation, he will continue to be recruited and treated like a king any time he is on campus. And with Mays being an ambassador for Tennessee recruiting, the last thing you want is to let him slip through the cracks and possibly decommit.
