Banks originally committed to Tennessee in February of 2014 before eventually de-committing in September of 2015, citing academic concerns that time. Banks didn’t sign with a four-year institute in the 2016 cycle and is now enrolled at NE Mississippi Community College.
The 5-10, 170-pound athlete was the No. 25 overall player in the state of Tennessee in the 2016 class, according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking. It’s unclear at this time if he will look to return to a four-year school in the 2017 or 2018 class.
