Status
Michael Allen has offers from some of the best schools in the country, and he continues to rack up the offers as the months go on. Allen has received five scholarship offers in just the last month alone, but he has yet to come to a decision. Tennessee and Georgia appear to be in good shape, though.

 How he fits

Allen has the ideal build of a hybrid-type defensive end, which Butch Jones has shown an affinity for picking up in the past. Allen has the athleticism to come off the edge and has the frame to add several more pounds if he is to stay primarily at defensive end. Right now he looks a lot like Darrell Taylor did coming out of high school.
