Status
Reitmaier earned a UT offer in December of 2015 and named the Vols his leaders in the spring of 2016. He’s picked up over a dozen offers heading into the summer, so while the Vols are in a good spot, there are no guarantees.

How He Fits
Defensive tackle is a big priority in the 2017 class and Reitmaier, an in-state prospect, is a big target at that position. He has exceptional athleticism for his size. His high school teams uses him in the backfield on offense and he can regularly be seen running down opposing teams’ skill players from his defensive tackle spot. Since he’s only about 280 pounds at this point, size could be a question at the next level, but he has the athleticism, technique and mindset to play in the SEC.
