JaCoby Stevens
Athlete – 2017 Class
6-2, 193 pounds
Murfreesboro, Tenn. (Oakland)
Other top offers
Georgia, LSU, FSU, Florida, USC, Oklahoma
Status
Widely considered a top 25 player in the nation, Stevens named a top seven (in no particular order) or Oklahoma, USC, Florida State, LSU, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee in April. Since that time, interest has only picked up even more with schools such as Michigan and Clemson making a hard push to be under consideration. Stevens has been a high priority for the Vols in this class for years, but could be a tough get with all of the national competition.

How he fits
Stevens is about as versatile and impressive of an athlete as there is in the 2017 class. He plays safety, cornerback, running back and receiver at the highest level in Tennessee high school football, and does it all with relative ease. He likely projects as a safety in college, but he can help a team in many ways.
