Obinna Eze
Offensive lineman – 2017 Class
6-8, 270 pounds
Nashville, Tenn. (Davidson Academy)
Other top offers
Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss
Status
Somewhat of a late riser in the recruiting world, Eze picked up several huge offers in the spring of 2016, including a ones from Ole Miss and Alabama just before summer to solidify his status as a big-time prospect. UT offered in late February of 2016 and the Vols always make Nashville a priority, so while it’s tough to say exactly where they stand heading into the summer, expect there to be plenty of communication going forward.

How He Fits
Eze needs to work on his overall strength, weight and leverage, but he’s another player that has the frame and the athleticism to be a tackle in the SEC with the right coaching and development. The Vols have done a good job of reshaping the offensive tackle position on the roster, so they might be looking for some developmental guys they can bring in, redshirt and prep for a few years down the line.
