Colorado Brewery Creates Peyton Manning-Tribute Beer

If you thought you’d seen all the possible tributes to Peyton Manning, think again.

There’s now a beer that pays tribute to the former UT, Denver and Indianapolis legendary quarterback.

“Oatmaha” will be available only at Denver’s Factotum taproom starting this Friday. A six-pack will set you back $15.

Oatmaha, which is a collaborative effort between the Denver Factotum Brewhouse and Indianapolis’s Tow Yard Brewery Co., “contains oats to represent the horse-themed mascots of the two teams in which he’s played for (Colts and Broncos) during his professional career. To define Indiana, the brewers incorporated corn, while sage expresses Colorado,” according to the Denver Post.

The report also notes that neither Manning’s name, nor likeness, will be associated with the beer, though everybody should recognize the “Oatmaha” name after Manning made the audible call “Omaha” so recognizable after 18 years in the league.
