6. at South Carolina

Jalen Hurd-1-2

Tennessee’s last trip to South Carolina was extremely memorable as the Vols pulled off a massive come-from-behind overtime victory. Most early predictions point to it being a bit easier for the Vols this year as the Gamecocks rebuild under Will Muschamp. But despite a three-game winning streak against SC, each of those games went down to the wire.

South Carolina has plenty of questions: Who will the quarterback be? How will they replace Pharoh Cooper? What Can Will Muschamp do with the defense? But until the Vols show they can easily take care of business against SC, it’s tough to call this one a gimme, especially on the road.
