Donovan Peoples-Jones
Wide receiver – 2017 Class
6-2, 190 pounds
Detroit, Mich. (Cass Technical)
Other top offers
Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Florida
Status
The top-ranked receiver put Tennessee in his top 10 in January of 2015, but has toured schools all over the nation and seems to be relatively open early in the recruiting process. He has his choice of virtually any school in the nation. He has been on campus in Knoxville, giving the Vols at least an outside shot in this one.

How He Fits
Peoples-Jones is one of the consensus best overall players in the 2016 class and could be an instant-impact guy virtually anywhere he goes. That’s especially true at Tennessee, where the Vols have been looking to upgrade the wide receiver position the last couple of years. It’s a bit of a long shot for the Vols, but he has the complete game as a receiver that is worth pursuing, regardless of the challenge.
