N’Kosi Perry
Quarterback – 2016 Class

Status
It’s been an eventful recruiting cycle for Perry already, with the talented dual-threat quarterback committing to Miami, then opening his recruitment back up, only to re-commit on March 19, tweeting “for good” at that point. But Perry visited UT not too long after that second commitment to Miami, meaning the Vols are at least still in the hunt heading into the summer.

How He Fits
Every quarterback Butch Jones has recruited to Tennessee has been able to run to some extent, and Perry certainly would fit that mold.
He’s more than a scrambler though, showing good field vision and touch on his passes in addition to great decision making. He threw 33 touchdowns and just three interceptions as a junior in 2015. Perry and Jack Sears have been the two names most heavily linked to UT’s search for a quarterback in 2017, should the Vols ultimately decide to take one this class.
