9. Evan Berry
Evan Berry was best known as one of the younger brothers of former Vol legend Eric Berry when he signed on with Tennessee in 2014. But in 2015, Evan made a name for himself and put his own name in UT’s record book.
As a sophomore, Evan Berry ripped off three kickoff returns for a touchdown and totaled 804 kickoff return yards. The touchdowns tied Willie Gault for most in a single season, and the yards were the second most in school history for a season. Berry’s average of 38.29 yards per return was the most in school history and fell just shy of the all-time NCAA record of 38.32 by J.J. Nelson of UAB in 2014.
Berry will have a shot to play some on defense in 2016, and he can further cement his name in the record books with some more kickoff returns this upcoming season.
