2. WR Marquez North/Tennessee
Arguably one of the most disappointing players in the SEC in 2015 in terms of total production, North is no longer the potential first-round pick that he looked like earlier in his career, but he could slide in under the radar in the later round and possibly blossom at the next level.
All of the physical tools are there, and he tested extremely well at the NFL Combine and at UT’s Pro Day. Now he must prove that he can stay healthy and productive. Both were issues in 2015, when he caught just six passes for 58 yards in seven game appearances. The right team and the right motivation could change North from disappointment to breakout player if all the pieces fall in place.
