The Twitter beef between Tennessee and Florida got even hotter on Friday when Florida cornerback Jalen Tabor once again came after the Vols, this time with specific players in mind.
While Tabor was tweeting some trash talk back and forth with former LSU defensive back Jalen Mills, Tabor acknowledged that Tennessee has one player also sharing the name Jalen, but that it didn’t matter because he is “the only Jalen they talk about” in the SEC. Shortly thereafter, Tennessee’s star linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin quoted Tabor, calling out Tabor for needing attention. Here is the exchange:
O yea they got one but I forgot I'm the only Jalen they talk about in this conference 😂

PSA Can somebody please give this kid some attention. He's begging for it. https://t.co/Ovcsd5V42B

Another Jalen – this time Hurd – had an opinion as well.

Tennessee hosts Florida in Neyland Stadium on September 24th just in case you want to put a count down timer in your phone.

Sounds like Hurd will be looking for the “lesser Jalen” during the game… sure hope they send him on a corner blitz and they can have a “meeting of the minds” to settle this nonsense (which would involve the smack talking gator getting his mouth shut the right way as JH gets his attention the way a MAN does; on the field!)… giving up 50 lbs to a man that fast and then being antagonistic towards said man is not the smartest thing to do… I suppose that is why he attends UF in the first place…
Smack talking a man who you give up 50 lbs to and runs nearly as fast as you is not my idea as intelligent… I guess that is why he attends UF… perhaps they will get together and settle their differences, hopefully on a power sweep to “mouth of the swamp” Tabor’s side… anybody have an delusions as to how that would end w/ the 2 Jalens 1 on 1? Tabor will end up on his back, seeing stars. And an orange swoosh as he gets steamrolled… also, comments like Mr. Tabor’s remind us all that many of these young men are either still in or just leaving adolescence… at least both of our Jalens handled themselves w/ some class and called the comments what they are, which is a cry for attention from a spoiled kid…
