8. Vols defeat UMass 86-67 (2014; Round of 64)
In what was a tumultuous season for Tennessee that led to a highly-touted squad barely squeezing into the NCAA tournament, this game show that the Vols were ready to make a tournament run worthy of their preseason hype. Fresh off an overtime victory over Iowa in the First Four, the Vols jetted to Raleigh, N.C., and then quickly jettisoned the higher-seeded UMass team in the Round of 64. Jarnell Stokes (26 points/14 rebounds) was virtually unstoppable in this one.
