Receivers
The amount of experienced depth at the receiver position really took a hit with the departure of Von Pearson, Marquez North and Johnathon Johnson (and Pig Howard if you want to include him). Of the receivers remaining, none are really head and shoulders above anyone else. Josh Smith (88) is the best overall receiver on the team and has proven to be a solid route-runner (87) and can make those tough catches in traffic (86). But no receiver on the team really has that “assassin” mentality yet. Preston Williams should be one of the best receivers on the team with his spectacular catch rating (87). And Jeff George (84 projected overall) from the JUCO ranks has the size alone to be on the field early.
