6. Recruiting
This will always be a storyline in every college football offseason, but it’s an especially big class for Tennessee. The Vols just brought in a strong, though smaller, class in 2016 and will look to reload in 2017 with what will likely be a bigger class. In-state talent is high in the 2017 class, and though depth has improved at many spots, Tennessee will be losing a lot of talent with Joshua Dobbs, Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Cam Sutton, Dylan Wiesman, Corey Vereen and possibly juniors Derek Barnett, Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara among the players that will need to be replaced in 2017.
