Overall
This is a bit of a tricky class to evaluate. On one hand, the average ranking per player is actually a touch higher in this class than the last two. The Vols simply didn’t have the same quantity in 2016 after loading up in the last two classes to restock the depth. That’s what hurt their national ranking (14) this year. On the other hand, it did feel like there were some high-profile misses at positions of need. But that doesn’t take away some of the extremely quality additions such as Guarantano, Kongbo, Byrd, Warrior and others. All things considered, it was a good class with a great finish.
