4. Wide receiver was a big priority
The Vols made it no secret that they needed quality and quantity at the wide receiver position after the group underachieved at times in 2015 and then lost Von Pearson, Marquez North and Johnathon Johnson following the season. Tennessee added five receivers – Marquez Callaway, Brandon Johnson, Corey Henderson, Jeff George and Latrell Williams – bringing in a variety of sizes and skills at the position to bolster the rotation. The Vols missed out a few top guys like Kyle Davis and Mecole Hardman, but are hopeful that this large haul helps rebuild the position.
