Tennessee added a bit of a surprise on signing day as former Miami WR commitment Latrell Williams flipped to the Vols on Wednesday morning.
Williams becomes Tennessee’s fifth wide receiver in the class, joining Marquez Callaway, Brandon Johnson, Corey Henderson and Jeff George, all of whom have already signed with the Vols.

How He Fits
There’s no such thing as too much speed. The Vols lived by that motto on National Signing Day when they added a Williams, a human fast-forward button. There may have been other more pressing needs since the Vols had four receivers coming into signing day, but Williams simply has raw blazing speed that can’t be taught.
Look for him to get a chance in the slot, in the return game and anywhere else the Vols can get him on the field and get his hands on the ball.
