This is easily the biggest recruiting weekend of the year for Tennessee as Butch Jones looks to close strong on the 2016 class. The Vols have put a lot of eggs in this final basket of a weekend with a dozen players coming in – several of them committed to Tennessee and five of them still yet to make their final decision.
Furthermore, five of them – QB Jarrett Guarantano (77), safety Nigel Warrior (58), athlete Tyler Byrd (86), defensive tackle Derrick Brown (9) and offensive lineman Landon Dickerson (31) – are ranked among the top 90 players nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking.
Here’s a closer look at the dozen prospects coming in with an emphasis on the five uncommitted players the Vols are trying to land leading up to National Signing Day on Wednesday.
