In many respects, the 2016 signing class for Tennessee hasn’t garnered as much buzz and attention as the last couple of classes for the Vols. And I’m certainly not sold on every aspect of this class – I do think UT swung and missed on some top targets and had to settle in some spots.
But just because Tennessee is tracking to finish somewhere between 15-20 in the national rankings when the dust settles on National Signing Day, that doesn’t mean this class is a disappointment. There are several reasons Vol fans should be excited about the future of this bunch, which will likely end up as a group of about 20 new players.
