It looked like Tennessee would be content with four-star running back Carlin Fils-Aime in this class, but Moss has popped on UT’s radar late in the process. He originally committed to Miami, but is currently pledged to Utah. He’s visiting Tennessee on Jan. 29.

How He Fits
The Vols are stacked at running back in 2016, but that very well might not be the case in 2017 and beyond. Jalen Hurd is a pretty sure-fire bet to go pro after the 2016 season and Alvin Kamara might join him. With those two possibly out after next year, that would leave just a small collection of scholarship backs on the roster in 2017, so while there are higher-rated prospects still on the board in 2016 at other positions, the Vols might feel the need to add Moss to fortify that spot.
