1. The Vols can, and likely will, finish strong
The commitment of four-star wide receiver/athlete Marquez Callaway last week was likely only the beginning of a strong finish for this class. There’s still a lot on the table. Four of the top 90 players in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite ranking, are still heavily considering the Vols and it’s possible that all four – OL Landon Dickerson (31), DT Derrick Brown (9), WR Tyler Byrd (86) and S Nigel Warrior (58) will be on campus this weekend. That always helps a team’s chances. That’s not to mention the No. 1 JUCO player in the nation, DE Jonathan Kongbo III, who UT coaches are visiting with on Thursday and is still very much in play for the Vols. Getting even a couple of those players could be considered a strong finish for the Vols in 2016.
