8. QB Jarrett Guarantano
This one is certainly circumstantial. Guarantano is among the most talented players coming in for Tennessee, but it’s a stretch at this point to say that he will be able to compete with Joshua Dobbs for the starting gig at quarterback. But he will compete for the backup job with Quinten Dormady and that can become one of the most important positions on the team should anything happen to Dobbs. Guarantano could be a non-factor, but there’s always the chance that a young quarterback could be pressed into action before expected. At the very least, he’ll be in the conversation for playing time by 2017.
