6. DT Alexis Johnson
With Owen Williams moving on, Johnson, another junior college player who is enrolled early, will be the perfect replacement in Tennessee’s defensive tackle rotation. The Vols like to go with about 5-6 players there and Johnson, along with Kendal Vickers, Danny O’Brien, Shy Tuttle and Kahlil McKenzie figure to be the players to watch in that rotation. Johnson, much like Williams was, is an extremely athletic defensive tackle who can be disruptive in both rushing the passer and stopping the run.
