Three-star linebacker Tim Hart out of Memphis announced on Twitter on Monday afternoon that he is no longer committed to the University of Tennessee. And instead of taking the “for personal reasons” or “business decision” route like the majority of recruits when they decommit, Hart went on to specify as to the move.
In Hart’s tweet, he cited “poor communication” and a “lack of openness” that led him to his decision.

The three-star linebacker had been committed to the Vols for over half a year before announcing his decommitment on Tuesday. According to 247Sports, Hart is the No. 16 player in the state of Tennessee and holds offers from Ole Miss, Memphis, LSU, Mississippi State, and others.
Hart’s departure leaves the Vols with 16 commitments in the 2016 class. The Vols now have two linebackers committed in the 2016 class, four-star in-state outside linebacker Daniel Bituli and three-star Georgia product Ja’Quain Blakely.
