Reranking the 2015 Tennessee Signing Class

Quinten Dormady-1

 Quarterback

Quinten Dormady
Initial ranking: ★★★
Was it a good ranking? Yes. Dormady came in and looked polished from Day 1 of spring practice. Some fans might’ve oversold his potential when they called for him instead of Joshua Dobbs at times, but Dormady, the son of a Texas high school coach, has a big arm, good footwork, a high football IQ and enough athleticism to buy time and protect himself. Tennessee coaches have to rest pretty well knowing he’s there if something happens to Dobbs next year, and it could be a huge battle between him, Jarrett Guarantano and possibly others for the quarterback job in 2017.
Rerank:

Sheriron Jones
Initial ranking: ★★★★
Was it a good ranking? Jones has good upside. He just got caught in a crowded quarterback room and decided to transfer to Colorado with the depth chart stacked against him in Knoxville. Based on what I saw in practice, I think he can be a really good player at Colorado.
Rerank: ★★★★
