It might be difficult for Tennessee fans to find the humor in Lane Kiffin, the former UT head coach who bolted to USC after just one season in Knoxville, winning a national title as the offensive coordinator for its biggest rival in Alabama.
Still, this is pretty funny:

Kiffin reportedly missed the bus after Alabama’s win, leaving him at least temporarily stranded at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on Monday night following Alabama’s 45-40 win over Clemson.
There’s some history with this as well. Kiffin was fired from his job at USC after leaving Phoenix in 2013 after the Trojans lost 62-41 to Arizona State, dropping them to 3-2 on the season.
“Last time I was here (in Phoenix), I got fired,” Kiffin joked to reporters this week while preparing for the 2016 national title game. “Time before that was for (USC’s) NCAA hearing. So, yeah, a lot of great memories (of Phoenix).”
He made some better memories this time, but that won’t stop UT fans from at least laughing a little bit at his predicament.
